A party fit for a mer-princess
Kayann had a mermaid princess party this year.
So to start we made crowns for all the merpeople. It was so fun to see how they turned out!
Alex didnt want a pink crown but he colored his yellow one pink
Once all the crowns were made it was time for mermaid races (thanks to old grandma for making the sacks!). It was grandma's job to line the kids up, that way I could take pictures.
The boys had to give the girls a head start. Of course they werent so happy about that.
Kayann and I ended the many races. The kids just LOVED it
One of Kayann's favorite things to do is eat! She picked out what to eat and helped get it ready. We had her favorite things, hot dogs, cheetos, frogs eye salad, and pink soda.
Every mermaid needs a castle to live in. Of course her's was pink on the inside. She even added a little mermaid to the sand! She is all about details. Last year Connor blew out her candles, resulting in tears and a redo, thus why Raymond is covering his mouth. Look at Alex's little face! So cute
Kayann is so lucky to have so many "friends". She got enough clothes to last months. Lots of barbies, which she loves to play with. Enough horse books to keep her entertained. And a CD player! She is so spoiled!
Kayann was so excited for her party. She was so glad all her friends came. She said it was the best birthday ever, followed by next year for my birthday I want to have............

That picture of Raymond during the race is perfect! The yard looks awesome by the way...
I love that "old" gramma made a crown too. No picture of her sporting the look?
Looks like such a fun day! I am bummed I missed it.
