The 24 of July

The 24th of July is a pretty big deal around this place. They have a huge parade, pow-wow and festival at the park. It is so big that people even camp out on the side of the road. Because my sister is living here, we got to spend the day with her and her family. We drove downtown pretty early to find a spot. The only problem was keeping the kids entertained until the parade started.

This was Kayann's favorite float, so she took a picture of it

We ate lunch at the park and walked around. We saw lots of great things, like people walking on water in big bubbles. We decided to ride the really old ferris wheel. It has been there forever. The kids thought it was pretty sweet

Here are 2 videos to sum up how parades make us feel

Ummmm, those videos of Ashlynn are freaking hilarious!!

Thanks for going to the parade with us. We had so much fun! Maybe next year we can get Derek and Raymond to camp out for us.
