8 is great!

Raymond recently turned 8! It still amazes me how fas the time goes. Anyway in true Raymond fashion, he had to have a fishing party. It started with this:

Because of the time of year Raymond's parties always involve water. Raymond picked out a bunch of snacks to eat while we played outside. Among the selection were some of his favorites like hot cheetos and watermelon

Sal and Nicky made it after all the water fun but just in time for cake (Nicky's favorite) and presents!

Raymond always challenges me with his cake requests (remember R2D2?). This year he wanted a fishing cake. So he got a river on green grass, complete with chocolate rocks.

This year he asked for a nintendo DS, specifically the one that could surf the internet. Raymond really loves to research things. Derek and I decided to get him some pretty sweet books instead (he can use the interent at home). His favorite, of course, was the fishing encyclopedia

Leave it to grandma to provide a nerf gun, that he loves

Sal and Nicky thought he needed a sweet skateboard too

He really did get so many great things but more importantly so many great people came to celebrate his 8 little years of life. Thanks guys!
