Some time with Raymond

Raymond recently was off track. This is good and bad. Raymond is so used to doing something all day he often gets bored. However, he is great at organizing the girls (hmmm....must be an oldest kid thing, JOELLEN) to play different things. This keeps the girls very entertained and tired!

Raymond spent one afternoon wrestling, I mean playing with the dog. This eventually resulted in a huge scratch across his forehead. Him and Takoda are best friends. When Raymond tells him to sit, he will plop his butt right on Raymonds lap!

While doing dishes another day I hear the horse going like mad and "YAW! YAW!" from both Raymond and Ashlynn. I peak around the corner and there they are, guns and all. Please note the bow and arrows on Raymond's back. I couldnt stop laughing. Raymond said they were chasing the bad guys

Despite the cold weather Raymond convinced his sisters that it was good mountain loin hunting weather. They tired to convince me it was squirt gun weather!

Raymond is such a good big brother. I am so glad that he loves playing with his sisters

Puppy love

Ashlynn has a puppy she drags around the house. He has a green leash. He even has a create, it just so happens to be a purse.

She loves her puppy. She takes such good care of him. She even feeds him!

She gets the dog food out, tells her dog "sit! stay!", than gives him dog food. Pretend dog food wont do either.

When he is done she says "outside. Go outside" She runs her dog over to the back door. Again there is no pretending. She isnt satisfied until we put the dog out to pee.

That little puppy has the best caregiver ever!

So big!

Ashlynn is getting so big. She loves to do "big girl" things like, pretend to bake cakes with Kayann. She loves to play barbies with her sisters. She likes to color with Kayann. She has to sit right next to her, and take her markers. Kayann is pretty patient with her though.

Derek does a lot of homework. What seems like all the time. Ashlynn has caught on to this. She sits at the computer, wiggles the mouse and says "homework, homework"

She is getting so big. I just love that big girl!

Is that an egg carton?

A friend of my recently showed my how to transform an egg carton into a cute gift box. I decided to save my cartons and make them for Valentines day. I filled them with different Valentine candy, and mini cupcakes. I used a ribbon to tie them, and a cute fabric flower, made into a pin, as a bow. I think they turned out pretty stinking cute. They are something I will do again!
