A little cookie goes along way

December means cookies. When I say that I mean LOTS of cookies. I am completely out of storage containers. They are stacked in my garage full of cookies. My mom is usually over every night making something.

Before we stared Christmas cookies I thought that I would make some good old chocolate chip to try to keep the kids out of the Christmas ones.

Whenever I am cooking you can bet Little Ashlynn is on the floor begging for something to snack on. No luck that day. I figured cookie dough probably wasnt the best for her.

Later when they were all baked and I couldnt resist her begging anymore, she got half a cookie. She loved it so much! Look how happy she is:

I had to laugh at myself because Raymond's mom would have never giving her 10 month old a chocolate chip cookie. I guess that is one of the perks of being the younger sibling.

Day by day

Today a dear friend of mine is celebrating her life. She is 10,585 days old. I cant believe it.

I will be writing more about this, her, and our life later (I have to go help Derek with homework). But I just wanted to take a second to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Ashlynn the slpasher

Ashlynn LOVES baths. She loves the water, the toys (which she hoards), mostly to splash. She only splashes when she is laying down though. She can make quite the mess. I think it is so funny!
