A day at the studio

We spent the day before thanksgiving getting our family, and Kaylee's birthday, pictures taken. We decided to go back to Celaina. She works at JCPenny's. She does an absolutely amazing job. She just knows how to pose all of us so it looks nice. You know, like we like each other.

I am in LOVE with this picture! The big picture of the kids goes vertically on my wall so I try to buy one that way so I dont have to change my frame. However for this........I will turn my frame.

Raymond looks so proud to be a big brother!

I didnt have time to search town for a flower for Ashlynn, so I attempted to make her one myself. Im pretty impressed with how it turned out. I really enjoyed making it too.

Kaylee does much better in pictures by herself. She smiles. Poses. Acts cute and sweet. It really is funny.

Kaylee is now 24 pounds. That doesnt seem like a big deal but it is. At 2 Kaylee only weighed 2o pounds which meant she had gained 2 pounds in one year. This year she gained 4! We are super excited about that. She now, at the age of 3, wears 2T clothes!

Pictures went very will. I was so nervous because it was right after lunch when the kids are supposed to be resting/napping. But Celaina was super fast. If you ever need good pictures I know where you can get them

Something to think about

I am big on lyrics to songs. They hold more for me than the artist, the music.

I came across a song that I have recently fell in love with. It is by Kenny Chesney featuring Dave Mathews. Its called I'm Alive.

I love that this song recognizes that everyone has struggles but its what you do with that. You can let it eat you up or you can see the good in your life.

And now..........

So damn easy to say that life's so hard Everybody's got their share of battle scars As for me I'd like to thank my lucky stars that I'm alive and well

It'd be easy to add up all the pain And all the dreams you've sat and watch go up in flames Dwell on the wreckage as it smolders in the rain But not me... I'm alive

And today you know that's good enough for me Breathing in and out's a blessing can't you see Today's the first day of the rest of my life And I'm alive and well I'm alive and well

Stars are dancin' on the water here tonight It's good for the soul when there's not a soul in sight This motor's caught its wind and brought me back to life Now I'm alive and well

And today you know that's good enough for me Breathing in and out's a blessing can't you see Today's the first day of the rest of my life Now I'm alive and well Yeah I'm alive and well

Very Impressive

I recently made this cute little "gift holder" It is actually a drink holder from subway. Though you cannot tell.

I'm impressed with myself because I made it all by myself with one hand! And it only took a couple of hours.

I filled it with different sorts of "movie" treats. Popcorn. Candy. Soda. It turned out so wel I just had to share it

Halloween

Every year Raymond's school has a costume parade followed by class parties. The girls love to admire the costumes. Kayann's favorite were the witches. There are alot of the same costumes though. It is always fun to see something different like, Simon from Alvin and the Chipmunks

The girls new from the beginning they were going to be fairies. Grandma found ALL the pieces at different stores for ALL the girls too, me included. I bought that halloween princess make up. I let Miss Kayann do her own. She wanted to look like the princes on the package. Of course Kaylee wanted to look like her sister.

Some how Derek got suckered into being Therodore. The boys loved it! The only knew one song though and to top it off it was a christmas song!

Sweet Ashlynn. She was so stinkin' cute.

Ashlynn and her mama

Here we are ready to go. Lisa brought Zach over, in his cute monkey costume. Rayna Connor and Coneal came too. The kids at so much fun!

Now the kids are counting down to Thanksgiving. Silly kids

Pumpkins

LET'S GET CARVING!

This was a fun year to carve. Kayann was NOT scared of the "slimmies" inside, and it was Ashlynn's first time. Not that she did much

Raymond loves to eat the pumpkin seeds. He thinks it is the best part about carving! He always makes sure they get saved

9 months......awhile ago

Ashlynn just turned 9 months! I cant believe it. There are some many things we love about her. She is learning and doing so much!

She can crawl. Its so fun to see her move around. She loves to get in to everything. Open and shut drawers. Play with the big kids. This video is the day she started. She is a bit wobbly.

She LOVES to give kisses. They are a bit wet but still loved by me.

Ashlynn is very spunky and loud. Instead of giggling at the kids she screams. Not a sad/mad scream but one of pure excitement. It is pretty freaking funny.

She likes to be able to see what is going on. She likes to be around people.

She now pulls to a stand. Anywhere she can. My leg. The bath. Her toy box. The dish washer.

She is very opinionated. If she doesnt want it you'll know, mostly because she shakes her head no. If she wants what you have, most of the time food, you will know.
Ashlynn LOVES to eat. you would never know by her size but that is what she spends most of her day doing!
Ashlynn is so sweet. We just love having her in our family
