A project finished!

I finished Ashlynn's crib bedding a few weeks ago but couldnt find a sheet I liked. In all honesty, I didnt know what color or what I wanted. I was wondering in Babies R us and found it. There it was. It was perfect. Just what I wanted!

*Thanks auntie JoEllen for the super cute blanket!

We moved Ashlynn into her crib a few nights ago. The first night was awful! That could partly be because she got up every hour and a half to poop, and because it was a new place. The second night, not so bad. I was told that it takes 3 days. And what do you know, the 3rd day PERFECT! She even naps in her crib now.

Mob boss born!

A new "little" guy has joined the family!

My sister JoEllen, her husband Sal, and their little boy Sal, welcomed the newest mob member, Nicholas Anthony Max Giani (yell that when your mad) to the world on Friday, May 15, at 420 pm, weighing 9 lbs 12 oz. He was 19.5 inches long

My sister has a the amazing ability to make big babies. Not kidding either. The amazing part is she doesn't care. She doesn't care that people ask her if she is having twins. Or that when she sits down her belly sits on her lap almost to her knees. She doesn't seem bothered that she cant reach her toe when it is bleeding. Or that she has to wear dresses as shirts. None of this bothers her because she cant wait to make her family bigger. She cant wait to bring another life into the world. To be a mama again. She is truly amazing.

I cant wait to meet the "little" guy

WELCOME TO THE WORLD LITTLE NICKY!

Go Fish

Raymond has been out of school this week. He finally talked Derek into taking him fishing.

He was so excited. This morning at 6 he was knocking on our door asking if it was time to go yet. I explained that he had to drop Kobe off at school first.

Raymond caught his first fish!, ok really Derek caught it and let Raymond reel it in. He couldnt wait to show it off.

Derek said he had to help gut it. Raymond was all for it. He got a chair and "helped" or just watched

Kayann wasnt so sure about it. She was sad for the fish. She said, "poor fish". But she watched. I explained it was ok, that is why there are fish.

As Derek was cutting there was blood on the cutting board. Not much but enough for Kayann to notice

Kayann put her head down and said "o no, not blood. I HATE blood"

We had fish for supper. Raymond helped. All in all in was a great learning experience for the kids.

Feed me!

For the past few days, while I make lunch for the kids, Ashlynn would fuss and smack her lips. So I decided it was time to give her some FOOD! She was so sure about it, but she ate almost half of what I made. I guess lunch time will be added to our routine now.

Open big!

Huh? What? More?

A new love

We all know that Ashlynn loves to see everything. Her swing and bouncey chair just werent cutting it anymore.

So we got her this fun jumperoo:

We werent able to use a JOHNNY JUMPER, because of the lack of door frames. However she loves it. She cant reach the ground (just a couple inches more) but she loves to wiggle to make the sound start. She loves being able to see.

A little show case!

I recently made a couple things I was kind of proud of.

1. Luggage tags for my moms trip to Europe. No more guessing if it is your bag

2. This really cute wall hanging for my moms house (ok these were mothers day gifts)

Party time

Kayann was so excited for her party. When everyone got there she exclaimed "all my friends are here!"
Alot of people came to Kayann's party. Uncle Sean and Joe even made it.
However some people were unable to make it. Aunt JoEllen and Uncle Sal sent Kayann a purse filled with all sorts of goodies, so she could be like mom.

It had make up, money, pink hair, a keychain, and some pink headbands. Kayann loves it. She carries it everywhere.

Her dad sent her all sorts of fun stuff. She loves the pink vetech laptop and her hello kitty doll the best.

Kayanns favorite book is PINKALICIOUS. So she had a pink birthday. It started with pink finger paints

Followed by "pin the cherry on the cupcake" Which Joe totally cheated at. He knocked down all the other cherries

Go figure she had a giant pink cupcake as a cake. She thinks the singing is too loud and always covers her ears. We had to light the candles 2 times because her cousin Connor got too excited and blew them out for her.

She got lots of clothes. (Thanks guys it was needed), some toy horses that she loves, a baby doll cradle board

And a new, you guessed it, pink booster seat!
