Pancakes anyone?

When we lived with my mom she would make pancakes every sunday morning. When we moved out Kayann would call her every sunday and ask her to make pancakes. Seeing how she would come over to get Jakobe in the morning she would just stay and make pancakes. Over time she slowly stopped making pancakes. Last sunday Raymond said "mom can you make pancakes, eggs and sausage?" So I did. I get breakfast finished and sit the kids down. They start eating. Raymond looks at me as sweet as ever and says "mom, grandmas pancakes are more gooder." All I could do was laugh and say "thats because grandma has had a lot of practice" O the sweetness of a child

WOW!

So it has been awhile, a long while. But I am here. So here is a huge update......... Starting with the pregnancy..........We will be having a GIRL in Jan. Who will be named Ashlynn Grace. We cant wait. The kids are so excited. Kayann has learned that babies drink from boobs (ask and she will tell). She likes to put baby dolls in her shirt (and mine). Her babies have all been renamed Ashlynn. Raymond has taken on the role of care taker. He says "mom did you take your vitamins today" in all seriousness. Or "have you eaten today because you are getting cranky" The sweetness of a child. Kaylee still doesn't really understand what is going on. She is getting it though. I do get worried about oligohydramnios because I had it with Raymond. As of now everything looks good. I measure just fine. For your pleasure here is a picture at 24 weeks. Photobucket Now Raymond....He just turned 5. Photobucket He started school.Photobucket He loves it. He thinks he is so big now. He must know everything! Shortly after starting he tells me "mom, girls are evil" I say "why is that?" His response "they are just evil" Now a few short months later he says he has a girlfriend. Man the world of a 5 year old. Kayann......Is big. That's about that. She is getting so big. She loves everything. Mostly, to eat, her grandma, hair clips and the color pink. She has proven to be more girly than I would like. How this has happened I don't know. She loves to play dress up, Photobucket She wants to be just like her brother. She has to sit and do "school work" when Raymond does his homework. Her favorite question is "what you doing" no matter the answer she says "oh" Kaylee.......Is growing. She is starting to talk alot more. She had us worried for a minute. She loves to play with the kids. It doesn't matter what they are doing she wants to do it. She is learning to love reading. She really wants to be like Kayann. Everything Kayann does she does. I guess that makes her like Raymond.Photobucket Last and not least Derek and I............We are doing good. We have been adjusting to mixing our families. It is tougher than I thought. But I believe we are doing well at it. Derek is working extra hard so that I am able to go part time in Nov. Life is good. Never perfect but wonderful. We have learned many things in the last few months and I'm sure we will learn many more
